Pretty Little Details: Brussels, Belgium

Bonjour à tous,

In addition to my general photo post for Belgium, here are some of my favorite snaps from my late-February stay in Brussels, Belgium: land of beer, waffles, comics and a lot of unexpected beauty. Enjoy the show!

One of many murals on Brussels' "Comic Book Route"
Manneken Pis at 5x scale
Stained glass, statues
Even in February, spring is already in motion
Albert I, a memorial to Belgian troops killed during WWI
"It will not be the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one that is the most adaptable to change." - Charles Darwin"
In a city of details...
Pretty Lady
Stick Figure Strikes again!
One of the most simple and powerful graffiti pieces I've found, stuck to the glass wall of an outdoor elevator.
Ice Cream
I like Brussels a latté
The most incredible city hall I've seen in Europe, period.

Double wammy! Alien pis, Manneken Pis
Under construction
Atomium
Hopefully you've enjoyed this mini tour of beautiful Brussels. Check back soon for the whole story!

Until next time,
